Republic is inspired by the Chippendale style, which flourished in the 18th century's golden age of design. A graceful herringbone design and scroll and leaf motif re-create the balance and symmetry of that era. The use of gold exclusively in Republic creates an luxuriant effect. Ruby enameled dots further enhance the design, each hand applied with a skill known as jeweling.
